Fruity, Floral Fun!
Flora and Fauna delivers a spectacle for all of one’s senses. Brightly coloured edible flowers, adorn all the bountiful dishes. On receiving the beautifully plated foods one cannot help but gasp in awe at the kaleidoscope of colours before you. We sampled the banana bread that came with fresh fruit: starfruit, dragonfruit, apples, strawberries, honeydew, rockmelon, kiwis, oranges, grapes, passionfruit, pineapple, cherries, flowers and Nutella and was both vibrant and healthy. The banana bread was freshly toasted from the oven and the dish overall was extremely satisfying.
The warm baked apple crumble with house baked granola was truly delicious especially with the generous serve of coyo. It was dressed up with a rainbow of fresh, seasonal fruit and pretty, edible flowers.
The menu caters for everyone, the majority of items are vegan friendly, gluten free and sugar free while still being gorgeously tasty. Sweet and savoury items are on offer from vegan nachos, banana bread, vegan Mac and Cheese, tomato bruschetta and other seasonal items such as French toast and pancakes.
Sunshine and this place are a good mix, so choose a sunny day to visit this brunch stop. There is a sense of community as there are dogs that wander on leashes, music, flowers and on trend succulents, all under vibrant spotted shades. A large mural adorns the nearby wall and there was a lovely atmosphere of bright cheerfulness on the day. Looking forward to returning and trying the wonderful looking raw parfaits!
