What a Revelation
The Reveley, is ideally located at fashionable Elizabeth Quay, ensuring fantastic views from all three levels. The ground level is for casual dining, the first floor is dedicated to fine dining and the rooftop is where you let your hair down and enjoy a few drinks at the bar. The name is fitting, paying homage to Henry Willey Reveley, the civil engineer responsible for the public works at the Swan River colony, the foundation of the State of Western Australia.
We enjoyed a nourishing and healthy breakfast that combined with the winning view and the sunshine, made us feel as though we were on holiday at an island paradise without leaving home. We thoroughly enjoyed our coconut smoothie bowls – steel cut oat granola, strawberries, chia, seasonal fruit and best of all coconut yoghurt. We found the juices to be refreshing and well garnished with fruit. We can recommend the Melonhead - watermelon, rockmelon, apple and lime and vibrant green Chlorofeel – green apples, celery, kale, mint and kiwi. We also tried an amazing chocolate ganache tart, dressed up with a delicious shard of pistachio praline. The long macchiato was exceptional so kudos to the barista.
The service was faultless and we were offered a choice of seating. The staff were obliging and friendly which enhanced the whole breakfast experience. Watch this space as we will be returning to try the restaurant and the bar in the very near future!
